The Story of M. Keane

M. Keane writes stories about connection, healing, and the quiet moments that shape us as humans. Her works drift across genres from romance and fiction to introspective tales of growth and memories. Keane always circles back to the same truth: we’re all just trying to find our way back home.

Rooted in the Midwest, she’s drawn to the beauty of small towns, beautiful sunsets across sprawling fields, and the simple things in life. Her stories linger in that space between comfort and heartache, where love and loss often meet.

When she isn’t writing, M. Keane is usually reading, daydreaming, or overanalyzing the endings of her characters' stories.

Keane enjoys a youthful yet peaceful life with her wife and two cats. Her favorite novels include Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Warriors, Delilah Green Doesn't Care, and many others. Keane is not only inspired by the many independent women who have created works of art with their words, but her own aunt, whom she grew up watching write and publish a series of very successful novels herself.
